[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] WINS is donating security equipment worth a total of 140 million KRW to Busan University of Foreign Studies and will engage in nurturing and recruiting talent in the Busan area.
On the 7th, WINS announced on the 8th that it held an industry-academic cooperation and equipment donation ceremony for fostering information security talent at the international conference room of Busan University of Foreign Studies, attended by WINS CEO Kim Daeyeon, Busan University of Foreign Studies President Kim Honggu, and other related personnel.
Through the business agreement, they agreed to actively cooperate in ▲donating practical equipment for training information security personnel ▲establishing educational courses for training control personnel ▲student internships, site visits, and employment cooperation ▲research cooperation related to ICT Innovation Talent 4.0.
WINS donated four security solution devices, including intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and DDoS response systems, to Busan University of Foreign Studies. These are high-performance security devices that detect, analyze, and block various types of network intrusion attacks in real time. They will be used for practical training and research purposes.
WINS CEO Kim Daeyeon said, "I hope that Busan University of Foreign Studies students will immediately apply this in their educational curriculum to understand the latest theories and grow into security experts equipped with practical skills."
