High School Student Drowning During Maritime Training in Yeosu... Coast Guard Investigation Underway

According to the Yeosu Coast Guard Station on the 6th, at around 10:42 a.m., a third-year high school student, Mr. A, went missing during a diving practice at the yacht dock in Ungcheon Waterfront Park, Yeosu City.
A marine leisure company official responded to the Coast Guard's request for cooperation and conducted an underwater search, finding Mr. A, who was then transported to the hospital by the 119 emergency medical team but was pronounced dead.
At the time of the accident, Mr. A was wearing diving equipment and was participating in a practice to remove foreign substances such as barnacles attached to the bottom surface of the yacht hull.
