On the same day, Representative Kim, along with People Power Party Daejang-dong TF members Kim Hyung-dong and Jeon Ju-hye, as well as local residents, visited the Board of Audit and Inspection's civil complaint consultation office to submit the request.
As reasons for the public interest audit request, Representative Kim cited ▲ allegations of preferential treatment throughout the process in which Seongnam City and Seongnam Urban Development Corporation selected the Seongnam Eutteul consortium as the preferred negotiator for the Pangyo-Daejang urban development project ▲ allegations that although the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced legislation to supply relocation housing land at the cost of land development, Seongnam Eutteul sold land to original residents of Daejang-dong at appraised prices instead of development cost, thereby making excessive profits.

Representative Kim stated, "The so-called public development backed by public authority is still missing what should be in place in Daejang-dong," adding, "The profits from public development must be returned to the public. We will reclaim all rights that should go back to the residents." It has been reported that local residents are opposing, claiming that "the original residents' land was acquired at a low price and the relocation housing costs were imposed at expensive appraised prices."
