Hampyeong-gun Completes Town and Township Tour 'Hampyeong Vision 2030 Mid- to Long-Term Comprehensive Development Plan' Meeting
Collecting Residents' Opinions... Establishing a Resident Participation-Based Plan
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it held a series of town and township meetings for five days from the 28th of last month to the 6th of this month to establish the ‘Hampyeong Vision 2030 Mid- to Long-term Comprehensive Development Plan’.
According to the county, this tour aimed to set the vision of Hampyeong-gun targeting 2030 and suggest development directions by reflecting residents’ opinions in the establishment of the mid- to long-term comprehensive development plan. They visited nine towns and townships in sequence and listened to the vivid voices of the residents for county administration development.
The meeting started with a presentation by the Gwangju Jeonnam Research Institute on the vision (draft) titled ‘The Future of Namdo, Soaring Hampyeong’ and the goals (draft) ‘Happy Hampyeong, Prosperous Hampyeong, Abundant Hampyeong, Hampyeong Embracing Culture,’ followed by listening to residents’ opinions and visiting major project sites.
This project will go through interviews with departments and offices, resident surveys, interim reports, expert advisory meetings, and final reports to discover 20 strategic projects linking sectoral development strategies and core projects, which will be used as a guideline for future county administration.
