Amazon Founder "Impressive Success of Squid Game"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Jeff Bezos, the founder and chairman of Amazon, praised the Netflix Korean original series "Ojingeo Game" (Squid Game), which has caused a global sensation.
On the 3rd, Bezos posted a still cut from Ojingeo Game on his Twitter, saying, "Netflix's internationalization strategy did not seem easy, but they are doing well."
He added, "The success of 'Ojingeo Game' is very impressive and inspiring," and "I want to watch this drama soon."
He also shared media reports related to Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Global TV Chief, who discovered Ojingeo Game as Netflix content.

Ojingeo Game ranked number one in popularity even in India, where domestic content is strong (according to the site 'Flix Patrol'), and it was recorded as a work that topped the charts in all 83 countries where Netflix is available.
