HiteJinro, Social Contributions Including Eco-Friendly Initiatives and Youth Independence Aligned with the 必 Environment Era

The company is also strengthening social contribution activities centered on three major projects: improving firefighters' working conditions, environmental improvement, and supporting youth independence.
In March, HiteJinro signed a business agreement with TerraCycle, a global recycling consulting company, to systematically recycle and promote the separation and disposal of containers such as cans and PET bottles. Following this, they conducted an eco-friendly campaign together with BGF Retail (CU) and Yogiyo.
The campaign was planned to emphasize the 'clean' concept, which is the inherent differentiating feature of the clean lager Terra, celebrating its 2nd anniversary since launch, and to provide consumer experiences focused on the brand's core values.
HiteJinro, together with BGF Retail and TerraCycle, built an online and offline platform, placed promotional materials in CU stores starting in April, and began campaign activities. Additionally, HiteJinro conducted the 'Clean Recycle' campaign with Yogiyo and TerraCycle, a program encouraging proper recycling and separation to spread correct resource circulation.
Moreover, HiteJinro has taken the lead in eco-friendly management activities by obtaining environmental product declaration certifications for major products such as Terra and Jinro in accordance with its eco-friendly management values. In 2018, HiteJinro became the first company in the liquor industry to obtain environmental product declaration certification. Subsequently, in October last year, in line with its eco-friendly management philosophy, it additionally obtained 'environmental product declaration' certifications for a total of seven products, including the representative new products Terra and Jinro, currently holding the largest number of certifications with a total of 20 types.
