According to Gmarket on the 25th, from the 1st to the 22nd of this month, total sales of swimming products increased by 382% compared to the same period last year. This is analyzed to reflect the sentiment of people wanting to enjoy the last days of summer during substitute holidays next month.
Sales of women's swimsuits increased by 133%, and men's swimsuits by 165%. In particular, among men's swimsuits, the popularity of full-body swimsuits and half-body swimsuits rose sharply, with sales increasing by 750% and 137%, respectively. Square-cut swimsuits increased by 193%, triangular swimsuits by 110%, swim caps by 150%, swim bags by 185%, and goggles by 160%.
Sales of water play products and skin diving equipment also grew. Life jackets (170%), snorkels (25%), buoyancy jackets (50%), diving suits (43%), underwater lights (30%), and surfing board accessories (95%) all showed an upward trend in sales.
