View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS Shop announced on the 23rd that it will carry out the 'University Student Volunteer Group Real Love 12th Term' and 'Senior Volunteer Group Active Love 3rd Term,' a support project for learning and emotional and character education for socially marginalized children in the community, together with Hope Friends Kia Challenge until the end of October.
The University Student Volunteer Group Real Love 12th Term consists of a total of 240 university students and students on leave who provide online play activity programs centered on online learning mentoring. In the online learning mentoring, one university student is matched with one child and conducts one session per week in one of the subjects Korean, English, or Math, providing about 2,880 learning sessions over four months to children at 30 local children's centers.
The online play activities are planned directly by the university student volunteers once a month and conducted via Zoom. In addition, various activity programs that can provide emotional stability to children will be offered a total of 120 times during the period.

The Senior Volunteer Group Active Love 3rd Term is an activity aimed at communicating with children at local children's centers to reduce the generation gap and alleviate COVID Blue. Thirty senior volunteers aged late 40s and above, who are actively engaged in social activities, directly plan and provide sharing and character education programs.
