Gyeonggi-do Provides 'Integrity Education' for Senior Officials Grade 3 and Above
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will conduct integrity education for senior public officials at grade 3 and above.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 15th that it will hold the "2021 Gyeonggi Province Senior Public Officials Integrity Education" over two days on the 16th and 17th of this month for 59 senior public officials at grade 3 level, including the first and second vice governors and the vice governor for peace, working at the provincial office, business sites, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters.
This education will be conducted online through video lectures due to the spread of COVID-19.
The instructor will be a professional integrity education lecturer from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, who will give a lecture on "Understanding the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act and Anti-Corruption Laws Senior Public Officials Should Know."
An official from the province stated, "This will be an opportunity to enhance senior public officials' commitment to anti-corruption through a proper understanding of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act and anti-corruption laws," and added, "The content of this education will be disseminated to all employees afterward to contribute to the realization of a fair and clean society and the promotion of public rights."
