Elevators Equipped with 4th Industrial Revolution Technologies Gather in One Place... Korea International Elevator Expo Held from 14th to 16th
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The '2021 Korea International Elevator Expo,' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and jointly organized by the Korea Elevator Safety Agency, the Korea Elevator Association, and Kyungyeon Exhibition, will be held from the 14th to the 16th at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
On the 13th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that since the expo is inevitably held to promote the elevator industry amid the COVID-19 situation, it will be conducted with a ‘high-intensity quarantine measure’ that is stricter than the social distancing guidelines set by health authorities.
This expo will feature participation from over 70 domestic and international elevator-related companies, showcasing and promoting various new elevator products integrated with Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. The KINTEX exhibition hall will have an ‘Elevator Safety Theme Pavilion’ that introduces the past, present, and future of elevators, and visitors can experience a space elevator through videos. A VR safety experience center for elevator accidents and installations will also be operated.
