According to Gong-su-cheo on the 10th, Chief Kim made this remark during the opening speech at the '2nd Gong-su-cheo Advisory Committee' held at 2:30 PM at the Gong-su-cheo building in Gwacheon. This meeting was held five months after the first meeting in April, where explanations and opinions were exchanged regarding next year's government budget and the newly established case publicity system.
Before the meeting, Chief Kim said, "Only by gaining the trust of the public through an unwavering attitude that avoids error-free absolutism, unchecked authority, and omnipotence will there be momentum for the development and continuation of Gong-su-cheo."
Meanwhile, Gong-su-cheo, which is investigating the 'accusation coaching' allegations, on the previous day, filed charges against former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol for four offenses: abuse of authority, obstruction of exercise of rights, disclosure of official secrets, violation of the Personal Information Protection Act, and violation of the Public Official Election Act, along with former Senior Prosecutor Son Joon-sung, former head of the Investigation Information Policy Office at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office (currently Human Rights Protection Officer at Daegu High Prosecutors' Office).
Also, on the morning of the same day, the 3rd Investigation Division of Gong-su-cheo (Chief Prosecutor Choi Seok-gyu) conducted searches and seizures at five locations including the residences, offices, or parliamentary offices of Prosecutor Son and Kim Woong, a member of the People Power Party. Kim is suspected of having handed over indictments against passport officials received from former Prosecutor Son while exchanging messages on Telegram with the whistleblower who reported this matter in April last year.
