According to GS Shop, golf category sales from January to August surged 45.9% compared to the same period last year. This figure surpasses 85% of last year's annual sales performance. It is analyzed that the online mall enjoyed a sales boom as golf, an outdoor sport, gained popularity amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
As autumn, the peak season for golf, arrives, golf category sales are showing an even steeper upward trend. GS Shop expects to record the highest sales performance ever by the end of this year.
GS Shop is holding a "Golf Fair" in collaboration with leading domestic and international golf brands until the 14th. More than 40 famous golf brands such as 'PXG Apparel', 'Parigates', 'Master Bunny Edition', and 'TaylorMade' are participating.
