Fila Participates in the '2021 Gwangju Design Biennale' Celebrating the Brand's 110th Anniversary
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Fila, celebrating its 110th anniversary this year, announced on the 8th that it will participate in the '2021 Gwangju Design Biennale' to exhibit representative products and content reflecting the brand's heritage.
Fila took part in the 'International Pavilion' exhibition, one of the five main exhibitions at this biennale. Here, exhibitions by artists showcasing designs created within international relations under the theme of 'Dub Revolution' were unveiled. 'Dub' refers to the artistic act of remixing foreign elements by adding local flavors.
Under this theme, Fila produced and unveiled the 'Fila X Dub T-shirt,' directly designed by Italian architect and International Pavilion curator Simone Carena. The T-shirt was also selected as the official uniform of the Gwangju Design Biennale.
Fila's exhibition was organized into four categories: ▲ Fila 110th Anniversary Collection ▲ Fila Film Content ▲ Fila Collaboration Masterpieces ▲ Fila Dub Cycling Collection.
