Renault Samsung Motors Extends Online-Only Purchase Benefits... "Enhancing Customer Convenience"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Renault Samsung Motors announced on July 7 that it will continue the ‘Online Special Pick’ campaign, offering special additional benefits for online limited vehicles this month as well.
Renault Samsung Motors’ Online Special Pick campaign is being held on a first-come, first-served basis for 41 units of the SM6 and 19 units of the QM6, which are online limited sales vehicles, through the Online Special Pick menu on the official Renault Samsung Motors website until the 27th of this month.
Customers who purchase vehicles through the Online Special Pick campaign will receive the September sales conditions benefits of up to 2.16 million KRW for the SM6 Premium Upgrade and up to 1.7 million KRW for the QM6, plus an additional special benefit worth approximately 300,000 KRW. Furthermore, if using Renault Capital installment plans, an insurance package worth about 100,000 KRW (including Smart Repair Program, Tire Insurance, and New Car Exchange Program) will be added as a benefit.
As the first domestic automaker to introduce e-commerce, Renault Samsung Motors has been attempting various forms of e-commerce sales to enhance customer convenience. Previously, in September 2016, coinciding with the launch of the QM6, the company established an e-commerce platform where customers could directly estimate vehicle prices in an online showroom and pay the deposit online. Since then, Renault Samsung Motors expanded e-commerce sales to all models from the following year and has been conducting various online-exclusive promotions.
In February last year, with the launch of the XM3, the company implemented online pre-orders and added online-exclusive benefits. Additionally, in July this year, Renault Samsung Motors expanded its e-commerce domain to home shopping channels by selling the Renault electric vehicle Zoe through GS My Shop.
