Research Idea Discovery in All Firefighting Fields Starting from the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The National Fire Agency Research Institute announced on the 7th that it will solicit research proposals from the 8th until October 7th to discover creative and diverse research ideas.
Anyone interested in firefighting can propose research topics, and suggestions are accepted in all areas related to firefighting, including ▲development of field response technologies and equipment utilizing advanced technology ▲advancement of fire investigation appraisal and analysis ▲improvement of firefighting policies and systems.
Submitted proposals will be reviewed based on the necessity of research and feasibility, and selected as research projects by the National Fire Agency Research Institute next year. Outstanding proposers will be appointed to the Public Participation Advisory Group, providing opportunities to participate in major projects and policies of the National Fire Agency Research Institute.
An official from the National Fire Agency Research Institute said, “Through this solicitation, we expect to understand the direction of firefighting development that the public anticipates,” and added, “We ask for the participation of many citizens so that diverse and creative research ideas necessary for creating a safe Republic of Korea can emerge.”
