Shinsegae Casa Opens Swedish Luxury Bed Showroom... Strengthening Premium Line
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Shinsegae Group's lifestyle company Shinsegae Casa opened a new offline store of the Swedish luxury bed brand 'CARPE DIEM BEDS' in Seoul on the 3rd.
Shinsegae Casa is expanding its distribution network by opening the CARPE DIEM BEDS flagship store Seoul at Casamia Apgujeong, following Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch. The strategy is to further strengthen the premium line through CARPE DIEM BEDS and develop the sleep category as a killer category.
CARPE DIEM BEDS is a luxury bed brand exclusively imported and sold by Shinsegae Casa since May. Skilled artisans dedicate themselves to making each product by hand, using the patented 'Contour Pocket Spring System.' It recorded a 500% sales growth within three months of its domestic launch.
The CARPE DIEM BEDS flagship store Seoul is a showroom-type store located on the 4th floor of the East Building of Casamia Apgujeong. It exclusively displays CARPE DIEM BEDS' main lineups such as Sando, Harmano, and Malo, allowing customers to view various design options at a glance.
A Shinsegae Casa official said, "CARPE DIEM BEDS will establish itself as a representative brand in the domestic premium bed market by leveraging excellent technology and diverse design options," adding, "We plan to continue introducing various premium bedroom furniture and reorganize the existing mattress lineup to strengthen competitiveness in the sleep category."
