The Daegu District Court's 1st Criminal Division (Chief Judge Lee Ho-cheol) announced on the 3rd that it sentenced Mr. A, who was prosecuted for obstructing the operation of a city bus (obstruction of business), to a fine of 4 million won.
Mr. A is accused of blocking the front of a city bus for 20 minutes around 11:10 a.m. on February 1 on a road in Dong-gu, Daegu, preventing its operation.
According to the court, Mr. A demanded to be picked up at a place that was not a bus stop, and when the driver did not comply, he committed the offense.

The court stated, "It is recognized that the defendant blocked the front of the bus while it was traveling more than 30 meters after leaving the bus stop and obstructed the operation until the police arrived at the scene," adding, "Considering the seriousness of the offense and the lack of remorse."
