On the 2nd, Lee met with reporters at the National Assembly and stated, "According to the explanation by Representative Kim Woong mentioned in the article, it was simply forwarding tips commonly received by the party," adding, "It will not be a major issue." He also added, "It is considered that the factual relationship of the 'commissioned complaint' has not been confirmed, and no actual complaint has been filed."
The former Prosecutor General Yoon's camp also emphasized, "We clearly state that no one was solicited for complaints during the tenure as Prosecutor General."
