National Jeongdong Theater Musical 'Pan' Cancels Remaining Performances Due to Actor's COVID-19 Infection
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] The National Jeongdong Theater has canceled all remaining performances of the musical 'Pan' due to a cast member testing positive for COVID-19.
According to the National Jeongdong Theater on the 2nd, the musical 'Pan,' originally scheduled to run until the 5th, has ended early. This decision was made after one of the actors performing in the show tested positive for COVID-19 on the 31st of last month.
The theater explained that the actor, who had completed two weeks after their second vaccine dose, underwent a proactive PCR test in preparation for rehearsals of their next project, which resulted in a positive diagnosis. All other staff and employees of the National Jeongdong Theater tested negative.

A representative from the National Jeongdong Theater stated, "For the safety of the audience and all involved in the performance, we have decided to cancel all remaining shows," adding, "Health authorities will select individuals who need COVID testing and provide separate guidance."
