Bus, Drone, Railroad, and Mechanic Certifications... Check Them on Naver
All national certificates issued by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority can now be registered on Naver Certificates.
On the 1st, Naver announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority to jointly promote the activation of the 'Naver Certificates and Certifications Service.'
Through this agreement, all national certificates issued by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority can be registered and utilized on Naver Certificates. This includes a total of 36 types such as commercial vehicle (bus, taxi, freight) driver qualifications, drone certificates, railway certificates, aviation mechanic, maintenance engineer, pilot, and other aviation-related certificates. The annual number of certificate holders issued by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority was approximately 215,000 last year, with about 2.96 million certificate holders in total.
The related certificate services are scheduled to be launched within this year on the Naver app, allowing users to easily verify and prove the validity of national qualifications in real time. The company stated that this is also expected to help prevent illegal employment or operation in advance. It is anticipated that the certificate linkage service will be easily accessible during job search activities by connecting with various employment portals. Naver Certificates has surpassed 2.2 million users and currently services certificates from the Human Resources Development Service of Korea and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This month, certificates from the Korea Radio Promotion Association and the Korea Productivity Center will be added.
