On the 27th, according to the Yangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, Lieutenant A of the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul was booked without detention on assault charges and is under investigation.
Lieutenant A is accused of punching a pedestrian on a street in Yangju city around 2:30 a.m. on the 23rd.
Lieutenant A’s identity was revealed when the responding police officers arrested him as a suspect on the spot.
