Nongshim Launches New Product 'Renjittaeng Ttukbulmyeon'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nongshim announced on the 23rd that it has newly launched the cup noodle product 'Renjittaeng Ttukbulmyeon.'
Renjittaeng Ttukbulmyeon is a product that allows you to conveniently enjoy Ttukbaegi Bulgogi in a cup noodle format. It features sweet and savory bulgogi sauce, noodles with enhanced texture, and bulgogi toppings made from alternative meat.
Nongshim utilized alternative meat technology, which it has been actively developing recently, to create toppings with a taste and texture very similar to real bulgogi, and included them in Renjittaeng Ttukbulmyeon. In a prior tasting survey, the alternative meat bulgogi received praise for its soft texture closely resembling actual bulgogi. Additionally, vegetables such as cabbage, bok choy, and carrots were added to replicate the taste and appearance of Ttukbaegi bulgogi.
Renjittaeng Ttukbulmyeon was developed with inspiration from the taste of Ttukbaegi bulgogi and the texture of glass noodles. Nongshim significantly increased the starch content to enhance the chewy texture of the noodles. To replicate the flavor of Ttukbaegi bulgogi, the liquid soup contains soy sauce bulgogi sauce. The powdered soup is composed of ingredients that provide aroma, such as pepper, garlic, and green onions.
