Hwasun-gun Residents and Public Officials Join 'Blood Donation of Love' Campaign
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 20th that it held the ‘Life Sharing Love Blood Donation Event’ on the 19th.
In this event, 124 residents and public officials participated in blood donation amid difficulties in blood supply due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and hot weather, confirming warm neighborly love.
Additionally, the residents and public officials who participated in the blood donation donated 57 blood donation certificates, asking for them to be used for patients in need of blood.
A health center official said, “It will be a great help to patients struggling due to blood shortages,” and added, “We will continue to hold blood donation events to do our best to overcome the blood supply crisis.”
