Ssangyong Motor Launches 'The New Rexton Sports' in Chile, First in Latin America
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] SsangYong Motor has launched the The New Rexton Sports & Khan in the Chilean market, marking its first entry into the Latin American region.
According to SsangYong Motor on the 20th, the SsangYong Motor Chile dealership held an official launch event on the 18th (local time) through the brand homepage of The New Rexton Sports (local name New Musso).
The event was conducted via audience-free live streaming, and the company explained that over 8,000 people simultaneously accessed the stream, showing strong interest in The New Rexton Sports.
Prior to the official launch, the SsangYong Motor Chile dealership held a media briefing and test drive event on the 11th and 12th at the Vida Soa Hotel in Santiago. At the test drive event, which was conducted with about 10 major specialized media outlets, reporters expressed satisfaction with the design, convenience features, driving performance, and towing capability, highly evaluating the product quality and marketability.
