At the Seoul foreign exchange market, as of 9:11 AM, the KRW-USD exchange rate is trading at 1,174.5 KRW per dollar, down 1.7 KRW from the previous day's closing price. The rate opened at 1,176.5 KRW, up 0.3 KRW from the previous day, but soon turned downward.
