Ministry of SMEs and Startups Distributes 1.3 Trillion Won to 52 Businesses on First Day of Hope Recovery Fund Payment

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 18th that it has paid 1.3 trillion won to approximately 520,000 businesses that applied on the first day of the Hope Recovery Fund disbursement.
The ministry sent application guidance text messages on the previous day from 8 a.m. to 667,000 businesses whose business registration numbers end with an odd digit among the first round of rapid payment recipients.
On the first day, 1.2708 trillion won was paid to 518,000 businesses, which is about 38.8% of the first round rapid payment recipients (1.334 million businesses).
To provide support as quickly as possible, payments will be made four times daily throughout this week, and if you apply by 6 p.m., you can receive the payment on the same day.
A ministry official stated, "The Hope Recovery Fund application website has secured sufficient processing capacity," adding, "Despite many applicants accessing simultaneously on the first day, the site operated normally without any delays."
