Chungnam Extends Additional Applications for Farmers and Fishermen Allowance Until the 3rd of Next Month
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province announced on the 17th that it will accept additional applications for the '2021 Farmer and Fisherman Allowance' through the eup/myeon/dong offices of each city and county until the 3rd of next month.
The Farmer and Fisherman Allowance is a policy aimed at compensating the public value of agriculture and fisheries, creating sustainable rural communities, and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
The additional application acceptance targets those engaged in agriculture (including livestock farming), fisheries, and forestry who are registered as agricultural and fishery management entities with business information in Chungnam before January 1 of last year and who did not apply for the payment in the first half of the year.
However, those whose comprehensive income excluding agriculture and fisheries exceeds 37 million KRW, those who have fraudulently received various subsidies and loans, and those who have separated households while living with eligible recipients are excluded from the target.
Applications can be made by one representative among household members forming the same household. Also, households engaged in two or more businesses must select and apply for only one industry.
The allowance will be paid in early November in the form of local currency usable in the city or county of residence, including paper, card, or mobile formats.
Previously, the province supported 1,565,860 households with 125.3 billion KRW last year and 1,575,400 households with 63 billion KRW in the first half of this year for the Farmer and Fisherman Allowance, respectively.
