On the 14th, Choi invited two supporters to his presidential campaign office set up in the Daehwa Building in Yeouido, Seoul, and had a conversation about his reflections during the month since joining the People Power Party.
The invitees were a job seeker in their 20s and a person in their 70s from Busan, who had correctly answered a quiz related to Choi during his online presidential candidacy announcement on the 4th.
When asked about solutions to the real estate problem, Choi said, "My second daughter also considered taking out a loan to buy a house 4 or 5 years ago but hesitated thinking 'Will house prices really rise that much?' and missed the timing, so now she is not in a position to buy a house."
He added, "Housing prices stabilize when there is sufficient supply, but the current government has reduced supply and imposed heavy taxes that prevent people from buying, holding, or selling houses," criticizing the administration.
Choi said, "There is a lot of anger due to the difficulties people face under the current government," and added, "I believe the desire to reform existing politics regardless of party lines has brought me to this position."
When asked about his reflections after spending a month since joining the party, Choi said, "It feels like I have moved very quickly," emphasizing, "I will listen carefully to what the people truly want and work together to draw the future picture of the Republic of Korea."
