At the meeting, the committee explained the progress made so far, including the submission of a public audit request to the Board of Audit and Inspection, to the working-level members and discussed future response measures.
The working-level members decided to put up banners to promote the MRO business to expatriates visiting their hometowns during the Chuseok holiday, along with the Sacheon Aviation MRO Business Protection 'Let's Do It Together Challenge.'
The committee plans to cooperate with Sacheon City and Gyeongnam Province to ensure that the aviation industry and MRO business develop centered around the Sacheon region.

Lee Kyung-geun, chairman of the working-level committee, said, "Since the MRO business is a private sector domain, Incheon International Airport Corporation's entry into the business will not only shrink the aviation industry in the Sacheon region but also deepen the concentration in the metropolitan area, hindering balanced national development. We will definitely block it."
