Gimhae City "Those Participating in the Good Landlord Movement, Be Sure to Receive Benefits by Year-End!" ... Extension of Property Tax Reduction Deadline
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 12th that it will extend the property tax reduction period for good landlords until the end of the year.
The city is currently providing up to a 75% reduction in property tax for good landlords who have lowered rent for small business owners struggling due to the COVID-19 situation.
Good landlords who missed the application deadline in May and June and did not receive the reduction benefits can apply for the reduction by December 31 this year and receive a partial refund of the property tax paid this year.
The reduction applies to owners of buildings as of the tax base date (June 1) who have reduced monthly rent for small business owners for three months or more from January to December this year, excluding those classified as high-end entertainment establishments such as nightclubs.
To receive the local tax reduction, applicants must submit a local tax reduction application form, lease contract, and bank transaction statements or tax invoices confirming the rent reduction to the Tax Division of Gimhae City Hall or the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Center.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Property Tax Team of the Tax Division at Gimhae City Hall.
