Naver Cloud and K-water Collaborate to Build Cloud-Based Digital Water Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver Cloud announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement with Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) to "create and revitalize a digital water industry ecosystem."
Under this agreement, the two companies will globalize the digital water platform promoted by K-water and establish a mutual cooperation system to develop the small-scale domestic water industry into a digitally dynamic water industry ecosystem.
The digital water platform is an open business platform that allows various participants such as companies, startups, and academia to easily acquire water-related data and quickly develop digital solutions to solve water problems based on this data, providing services domestically and internationally.
Naver Cloud has completed development to operate the digital water platform on its cloud platform and plans to introduce a hybrid cloud configuration by newly linking Naver Cloud Platform's container-type data center to the existing data center to support stable platform expansion and growth.
Additionally, to maximize innovation in the digital solution development process for companies participating in the digital water platform, Naver Cloud will provide technical support including DevOps, developer training, and customized consulting.
Furthermore, the two companies agreed to jointly work on the commercialization, promotion, and marketing of digital solution services installed on the digital water platform both domestically and internationally, as well as to revitalize the domestic Software as a Service (SaaS) market.
