The day with the highest sales during the Olympic period was found to be the 31st of last month, followed by the 6th of this month and the 25th of last month.
On the 31st of last month, important ball sports matches were held consecutively, starting with the baseball game against the United States in the evening, followed by the women’s volleyball preliminary match between Korea and Japan, and the men’s soccer quarterfinal against Mexico. Sales on that day increased by a remarkable 70% compared to the previous year.
The 6th of this month was the day of the women’s volleyball semifinal against Brazil, which decided the team’s advancement to the finals, recording the highest weekday sales during the Olympic period.
The third highest sales day, the 25th of last month, featured the women’s archery team gold medal match, swimming preliminary races with athlete Hwang Sunwoo participating, and the men’s soccer team preliminary match against Romania.
The most sold menu during the Olympic period was the Combo Series, with Bburinkle and Fried Chicken ranking second and third respectively.
The Combo Series, a partial meat menu launched last year, showed a steep increase in sales and recently surpassed the flagship menu Bburinkle to become the number one menu. During the Olympic period, the Bburinkle Combo was the best-selling item within the Combo Series.
