Daejeon City Provides 'Emergency and Special Care Support' for Disabled People in COVID-19 Crisis
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 4th that it will provide emergency and special care support until the end of this year for local people with disabilities who are facing difficulties due to the spread of COVID-19.
The support targets are people with severe disabilities who are not recipients of disability activity support but have been dispersed and isolated due to group infections within residential facilities for the disabled.
The city will provide 120 hours of care support services to the recipients during the dispersion period.
Additionally, for elementary, middle, and high school students who are recipients of disability activity support and are having difficulty with normal learning due to COVID-19, online learning assistance services will be provided for six months from the application date.
