[Breaking] Pre-Booking for Vaccination of Ages 18-49, '10-Day Rotation System' Implemented
Based on the 'Last Digit of Birth Date'
Birthdays from 9, 19, 29... Reservations start August 9
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] The COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced the 'COVID-19 Vaccination Implementation Plan for August-September' on the 30th.
According to this plan, advance reservations for vaccination for the general public aged 18 to 49 will be conducted from the 9th to the 18th of next month using a '10-day rotation system.' The Promotion Team explained, "We aimed to enhance convenience and fairness of vaccination by evenly distributing the available reservation slots by vaccination time and medical institution."
This 10-day rotation system designates people whose birth date's last digit matches the last digit of the date. For example, on the 9th of next month, when reservations begin, those born on the 9th, 19th, or 29th can make reservations, and on the 11th, those born on the 1st, 11th, 21st, or 31st can make advance reservations.

Those eligible for reservation on each date can make reservations daily from 8:00 PM until 6:00 PM the following day. Afterwards, from the 19th of next month to September 17th, additional reservations and changes can be made. During this period, additional reservations and changes are available for all eligible individuals, and those who did not participate in the 10-day rotation system reservation can also make reservations.
