Six People Including Recently Arrived USFK Soldiers Test Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Recently, six individuals, including U.S. military personnel stationed in Korea who recently arrived in South Korea, tested positive for COVID-19.
On the 22nd, the United States Forces Korea (USFK) announced that six people?five U.S. military personnel and one civilian employee?who recently arrived in South Korea tested positive for COVID-19.
They are reported to have arrived in South Korea between the 4th and 18th of this month.
One person tested positive immediately upon arrival, one tested positive during the second test in the quarantine period, and the remaining four tested positive during the mandatory test before quarantine release.
All of them were transferred to a dedicated COVID-19 facility for USFK confirmed cases.
