GM Hanmaeum Foundation Delivers 'Love Vitamin Packages' to Vulnerable Children

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] GM Hanmaeum Foundation Korea announced on the 22nd that it delivered ‘Love Vitamin Packages’ consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables to children’s centers in the Incheon area to improve the health and immunity of vulnerable children.
Hanmaeum Foundation, aiming to improve the health of vulnerable children and care workers amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, collaborated with the Incheon Community Chest of Korea and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) to assemble abundant agricultural produce packages including seasonal fruits and vegetables, which were delivered to 178 children’s centers in Incheon.
The Love Vitamin Packages consist of seven types of fruits such as apples, watermelons, and grapes, and three types of crops including potatoes and corn. These packages were safely delivered to our children through local distribution agencies and the Incheon support group for children’s centers, supporting vulnerable children and child care workers to have a healthy summer.
In this regard, on the 21st, a delivery ceremony for the Love Vitamin Packages was held at the Korea GM Bupyeong headquarters in Incheon, attended by Kaher Kazem, President of Korea GM; Do Seonghun, Superintendent of Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education; Cho Sangbeom, Chairman of Incheon Community Chest of Korea; and Kwon Ohun, Head of Incheon Regional Headquarters of Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.
Kaher Kazem, President of Korea GM, said, “With the warm hearts and sincerity of our employees, we prepared fresh seasonal agricultural products for vulnerable children,” adding, “Korea GM will continue efforts to support the healthy growth of vulnerable children in our local community.”
Do Seonghun, Superintendent of Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, expressed gratitude, saying, “I thank the GM employees who gathered warm sincerity to improve the health and immunity of our children,” and added, “Especially in summer, which is the season of greatest concern for the health of vulnerable children, I hope our children can have a cool and energetic summer through the Love Vitamin Packages received this time.”
