[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] The People Power Party will hold the first meeting of the 'Public Office Candidate Competency Enhancement Task Force (TF)' on the 22nd.
Kim Sang-hoon, a member of the People Power Party who serves as the chairman, said in a phone call on the 21st, "The first meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow."
The Public Office Candidate Competency Enhancement TF is part of the public official qualification exam TF that Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, was promoting. Originally, it was planned to be named the 'Public Office Candidate Qualification Exam TF,' but the name was changed to reflect the intention to also encompass educational functions.
In addition to the six members initially selected as committee members, there is a possibility of additional appointments. This is because there was criticism that there was not a single female among the committee members.
The TF members include Song Seok-jun and Yoo Kyung-jun, Park Jeong-ha, chairman of the Gangwon Wonju-si Gap Party Committee, Shin Beom-cheol, chairman of the Cheonan-si Gap Party Committee, Park Jin-ho, chairman of the Gyeonggi Gimpo-si Gap Party Committee, and Jo Cheol-hee, head of the Organization Bureau, totaling six members.
