Chevrolet Trailblazer Achieves No.1 in Domestic Complete Vehicle Exports in June
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] On the 21st, Korea GM announced that the Chevrolet Trailblazer ranked first in domestic finished car exports last month.
The Trailblazer, developed and produced domestically by Korea GM and GM Technical Center Korea for both the domestic and global markets, along with the Buick Encore GX which shares the same vehicle platform, exported 15,165 units last month. This represents a 267.3% increase compared to the same month last year.
This is the first time since Korea GM began exporting the Trailblazer that it has ranked first in exports, and it is the first time in 27 months since the Trax ranked first in exports in March 2019.
The Trailblazer also recorded a total of 81,911 units exported in the first half of the year, a 49.9% increase compared to the 54,647 units exported in the first half of last year. Last month, the total cumulative exports surpassed 230,000 units.

Additionally, in the domestic market last month, it achieved sales of 2,671 units, leading Korea GM's domestic sales performance for the month. Notably, this represents a 99.6% increase compared to May, when factory operations were disrupted due to vehicle semiconductor chip supply issues.
