Ministry of Unification: "VNR Report Difficult to View as Appeal for External Support"

In response, the Ministry of Unification stated that the report is not intended to appeal for external aid.
On the 15th, a Ministry of Unification official told reporters asking about the background of North Korea's VNR report disclosure, "It is difficult to see the report as an appeal for external support."

The official added, "North Korea has made its own preparations for the report, such as establishing a task force to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It should not be seen as a disclosure made urgently to receive aid from the South."
