GS Retail Partners with Fire Agency to Establish Nationwide Safety System
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Retail announced on the 15th that it will sign a business agreement with the National Fire Agency to establish a national safety net through online and offline platforms.
Through this business agreement, they will jointly promote projects such as ▲collaboration to expand the distribution and installation of residential fire alarms ▲establishment of an early response system through the convenience store GS25 in case of fire and safety accidents ▲public campaigns on fire policies through GS Retail's online and offline platforms.
Starting next month, a nationwide public campaign will be launched to encourage the installation of residential fire alarms and emphasize fire prevention effects through GS Retail's online and offline platforms and fire stations nationwide. In addition, GS25 will promote the introduction of safety accident prevention products such as fire alarms, actively cooperating to achieve the National Fire Agency's goal of over 80% installation rate of residential fire alarms by 2025.
Collaboration to utilize GS25 as an early response platform in case of safety accidents is also expected. Both parties plan to hold various discussions to establish an early response system for safety accidents, such as equipping GS25 stores with fire extinguishing supplies like fire extinguishers to minimize potential damage in emergencies.
