Heavy Showers Forecasted Across Gwangju and Jeonnam on the 15th

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 13th, the lowest temperature in Gwangju from 6 PM the previous day to the morning of the day recorded 25.5 degrees Celsius.
A tropical night refers to a phenomenon where the lowest temperature during the night (6 PM to 9 AM the next day) remains above 25 degrees Celsius.
Besides Gwangju, temperatures recorded were 25.9 degrees in Suncheon, 25.7 degrees in Yeosu, 25.5 degrees in Mokpo, 25 degrees in Jangheung, 25.3 degrees in Muan, 25 degrees in Yeongam, and 25 degrees in Jindo.
With heatwave warnings issued for most areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, daytime temperatures are expected to rise above 32 degrees Celsius until the 15th, and due to high humidity, the perceived temperature will rise above 33 degrees Celsius (above 35 degrees Celsius in some inland areas), making it very hot.
On the 15th, showers are expected mainly in the eastern inland areas of Jeonnam.

In areas where showers occur, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning, and locally, very heavy showers exceeding 50 mm per hour and strong gusts of wind around 70 km/h (20 m/s) are expected.
