View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Seoul city announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 465 as of 9 PM on Saturday, the 10th.
Compared to the same time on the previous day (the 9th), it is 10 fewer than 475, and 188 more than last Saturday (the 3rd), which had 277 cases. The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul recorded an all-time high of 583 on the 6th, then maintained the 500s for four consecutive days with 550 → 503 → 509 cases up to the 9th.
Usually, the number of tests drops sharply on weekends, leading to fewer new confirmed cases the following day, but on the 9th, the number of people tested in Seoul was 72,337, the second highest ever, so the weekend effect did not appear.
