[Photo] Administrative Order Prohibiting Drinking After 10 PM Throughout Parks and Green Spaces in Mapo-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Mapo-gu (Mayor Yudonggyun) has issued an administrative order banning alcohol consumption after 10 PM throughout major parks and green spaces in Mapo-gu to prevent the spread of COVID-19 community infections.
The applicable areas include all 173 parks and green spaces within Mapo-gu, where visitors are prohibited from drinking alcohol from 10 PM until 5 AM the following day.
Violations of quarantine rules will first receive a warning, and if non-compliance continues, a fine of up to 100,000 KRW will be imposed according to the Act on the Regulation of Violations of Order.
In addition to fines, all quarantine-related costs incurred from violations, including testing, investigation, and treatment for confirmed cases, may be claimed for reimbursement.
