View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] In response to the 4th wave of COVID-19, the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) will operate summons and investigations of suspects and other related parties more flexibly.
On the 9th, the CIO announced that it had prepared such response measures following the elevation of social distancing levels to Level 4 in the Seoul metropolitan area.
The CIO investigation team will coordinate so that summons schedules for related parties do not overlap and will extend the intervals between summonses.
Employees were urged to postpone or refrain from private gatherings. It was recommended that lunch be taken mainly with department staff.
