[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will participate in the "1st Korea Festival Expo" held at BEXCO in Busan for three days from the 9th to the 11th, widely promoting the 21st annual Herbal Medicine and Herb Festival this year.
According to the county on the 8th, this Korea Festival Expo is hosted by the Korea Local Newspaper Association and organized by the Korea Exhibition Industry Agency.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Tourism Organization, the Council of Governors of Cities and Provinces of Korea, and the Council of Mayors, County Governors, and District Heads nationwide.
Sancheong-gun will participate in the Gyeongnam promotional pavilion jointly operated by Gyeongnam Province and the counties of Goseong, Hadong, and Hamyang.
Various events such as promotional exhibition programs for major festivals of each local government, the Korea Representative Festival Awards ceremony, mascot contests, performances, and events will be held.
Sancheong-gun will introduce the vision and main contents of the 21st Sancheong Herbal Medicine and Herb Festival to be held this fall, highlighting the strengths of the herbal medicine and herb festival.
In particular, through a jointly operated booth with Goseong, Hadong, and Hamyang counties, a joint promotional exhibition will be held, conducting various experiential events from the four counties.

A county official said, "We are participating in the expo to promote Sancheong-gun, the mecca of anti-aging wellness travel, and its core content, the Herbal Medicine and Herb Festival, nationwide," adding, "We will actively strive to establish it not only as a leading herbal medicine city but also as a global festival of Korea."
