Hanjin Steel Pipe Joins as Regular Member of Korea Iron & Steel Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hanjin Steel Pipe, a specialist in structural pipes, has become a member of the Korea Iron & Steel Association.
Hanjin Steel Pipe announced on the 5th that it has joined as the 38th regular member of the Korea Iron & Steel Association.
Established in November 1980, Hanjin Steel Pipe operates its 1st and 2nd factories in Cheonan, Chungnam, producing 280,000 tons annually of general structural pipes (round and square, color square), steel pipes for scaffolding, steel pipes for piping, and steel pipes for solar power.
Hanjin Steel Pipe has obtained KS certification for six items including carbon steel pipes for mechanical structures, and has also acquired Japanese Industrial Standards for five items including general structural steel pipes, supplying high-quality steel products to the US, EU, and other markets.
In addition, Hanjin Steel Pipe is committed to sustainable development by expanding exports by more than 100,000 tons annually, practicing ESG (environment, social, governance) management, and realizing smart factories in line with the global Y2025 vision.
