This internship recruitment is the result of the local workforce hiring plan scheduled from June this year to prepare for the completion and opening of Legoland Theme Park. For local workforce hiring, residents with addresses in Gangwon Province will be primarily employed, contributing to job creation within the region. The internship period ranges from 3 to 6 months depending on the field, and the decision to convert interns to full-time employees at Legoland Korea Resort will be based on work performance evaluations.
A total of three interns were hired in the fields of accounting, marketing, and operations, all of whom are talents based in Gangwon Province. Legoland Korea Resort plans to hire about 20 interns and around 90 experienced workers by the second half of this year to prepare for the theme park's completion and opening. Internships will be offered to talents residing in Gangwon Province, and experienced positions will also prioritize Gangwon residents as much as possible.
Lee Young-hoon, hired as an accounting team intern, said, "I was born in Chuncheon, graduated from Kangwon National University, and am very happy to start my first job at Legoland Korea Resort. I have always wanted to work for my hometown Chuncheon, and I hope this recruitment will directly contribute to revitalizing and developing the local economy." Marketing intern Ma Jung-woo and operations intern Kim Seung-beom added, "Legoland Korea Resort's local talent recruitment will have great significance for young people like us in the province."
