NongHyup Bank IT Division Conducts River Cleanup Activities in Preparation for the Rainy Season
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 30th that about 20 IT department employees visited the local stream (Hakuicheon) in Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi Province to conduct environmental cleanup activities in preparation for the upcoming rainy season.
The employees who participated in the volunteer activity the day before carried out an "eco-plogging" activity that protects both the environment and health while adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Plogging is a lifestyle-oriented environmental protection movement that combines "plocka upp" (picking up litter) and jogging, involving light jogging while picking up trash.
