[Asia Economy Reporter Kim So-young] Jang Kyung-tae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, commented on former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's declaration of his presidential candidacy, saying, "It will become clear in his future actions, but it is expected that the nickname 'Gancheolsu' will now be taken by 'Ganseok-yeol.'"
On the 29th, Jang posted on his Facebook, criticizing, "He neither clearly expresses his thoughts or positions on political affiliation, future plans, or sensitive policies, nor does he answer directly."
He posted an article titled "Yoon Seok-yeol's Candidacy Declaration, Poor in Vision and Policy, Fully Exposed," beginning with, "It felt like he had only registered for the course but had not yet completed it."
He continued, "There was no content about the future, and it was embarrassing to see an essay-level list of words that seemed impressive while criticizing the Moon Jae-in administration."
He added, "On the surface, he emphasized fairness and common sense, but inwardly he placed emphasis on freedom and the rule of law," and said, "The image of former President Lee Myung-bak, who emphasized inclusive freedom and centrist pragmatism, overlapped with that of former President Park Geun-hye, who stressed normalization of abnormality, principles, and the rule of law."
He also pointed out, "Even during his inauguration speech as Prosecutor General, he attached all the good words, but ultimately betrayed the people's desire for prosecutorial reform and focused on protecting the organization before stepping down."
Jang continued, "Finally, the time when former Prosecutor General Yoon was weighing his candidacy has ended," but added, "However, he is still weighing party membership and hiding his own packaging."

The endless repetition of 'freedom,' the omnipotent rule of law, and the parrot-like rhetoric that goes against the times were quite impressive."
