SK C&C to Build ERP System for Hyundai Global Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 30th that it has commenced the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system construction project for Hyundai Glovis.
This project was initiated to integrate the Hyundai Glovis ERP systems that were operated separately domestically and internationally and to establish a big data foundation.
SK Inc. C&C will first integrate the financial ERP systems operated by the domestic headquarters as well as overseas branches in Europe, the Americas, and Singapore into the SAP ERP system. Starting with designing and building financial, treasury, and management accounting processes, the system connecting the headquarters and overseas branches will be implemented, and an application integration environment will be established. Integration work for major core systems such as unified sales, purchasing and logistics, human resource management, and electronic tax invoices will also be carried out.
Hyundai Glovis’s unique "Global Standard Business Template" will also be developed. It will comprehensively collect and analyze daily data from business sites such as sales, purchasing, logistics, and inventory, as well as support analysis and response to current issue situations.
In addition, a ‘Ubiquitous system’ environment will be built to enable work and data processing anywhere on global sites. An integrated authentication system will be established on the corporate information portal to allow users to freely use all systems and services suited to their work with a single login.
